A New Year has begun and with it the usual thoughts on resolutions full of good intentions, that for
me anyway, last about a week if I'm lucky so this year no lists of New Year Resolutions . Instead I plan to be mindful and grateful for every day and appreciate the people in my life and the joys we share.
Apologies for my absence from blogging land over the last two weeks . My excuse , a combination of the usual Christmas madness and following my son as he ran in a series of Athletic Carnivals held over the Christmas /NewYear in various parts of our state. (He is in green).
Spreading my wings in this new top by Viktoria & Woods, a Christmas gift from my husband , it is
designed and made in Australia and a soft, pure cotton. The designers statement very much echoes many of my own sentiments , "' Our approach is to create effortless wardrobe staples with a contemporary feel and luxe vibe that are timeless. We embrace textiles that leave a lighter footprint
on the planet whenever possible and the integrity of how and where our product is made remains a passionate focus".
The bush background echoes the licorice black of my old faithful Moyuru pants that were perfect
with my new top. I also added a muti-strand pearly and black necklace that I have worn and loved for more years than I care to remember, sunnies from Karen Walker and bronze platform shoes by Robert Clergerie,
My little hat was a very generous Christmas gift from Pretty Woman Clothing Boutique , here in
Launceston. I do love how with its feathery adornment on the back , you look as good leaving as you do coming. One hope for 2017 is that my hat collection will continue to grow, this is a wonderful start, thank you Anna.
Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year
